A lot of fans and analysts expressed surprise when they watched the Halo 4 reveal trailer at the Electronic Entertainment Expo a few weeks ago. No, Master Chief's return didn't shock anyone, but his appearance did. A few subtle differences in his looks quickly created a buzz among everyone. Why does the Chief look different from previous designs in the earlier Halo games?

According to Frank O'Connor of 343 Industries, the new design is not a pointless or unjustified change. O'Connor made it a point to say that Master Chief's appearance is an important part of the story in the latest installment of the Halo franchise. Also, John 117 is supposedly getting a personalityupgrade in the new game. Most people know that the SPARTAN was never one for words, but that could be changing soon.

As soon as it was released, the new trailer for the upcoming game turned heads and brought out plenty of speculation. Very little is known about Halo 4, but that isn't stopping millions from voicing their excitement and thoughts. Obviously, the biggest point about everything is simple--Master Chief is back. The game finds its way to stores at the end of 2012.

Still, that leaves plenty of unanswered questions about the game itself. Who is Master Chief fighting in Halo 4? Are there armor abilities or was the jetpack in the trailer just for show? Nobody knows what weapons, vehicles, or other characters are slated for the game either.

Finally, there is one huge question that needs to be answered. Will Halo 4 release on the Xbox 360 or the rumored "Xbox 720"?
