The video showcases a pregnant Beyonce sporting countless 60's-inspired looks, ranging from simple black and white ensembles to colorful leotards to active wear. Even at a couple of months into her pregnancy, the singer still struts her stuff in sexy outfits and different hair styles while keeping up with the up-tempo track's sharp choreography.

At the MTV Video Music Awards in August, Beyonce surprised the world with her pregnancy announcement before taking the stage to perform the song "Love On Top" off of "4". Prior to the release of "Countdown" and her pregnancy announcement, Beyonce made several television appearances, headlined a four-night, standing-room-only engagement at New York's Roseland Ballroom, and released the singles "Run The World (Girls)", "Best Thing I Never Had" and "1+1".
