CAPSULE

I’m very pleased to present the new album from Japanese ultra dance group CAPSULE. Every time they bring something out, it’s always different and very upbeat you can’t get enough from the Japanese “ALL STARS” let me start by saying this, if you’re a Capsule fan or like Japanese Dance Music then you should pick this up right away. Toshiko Koshijima (CAPSULE’s vocalist) doesn’t seem to really be the star of this album, and I wish she was. “STAY WITH YOU” is definitely a key track and comparable a bit to the likes of “CELLWELLER.” It’s a great track, it’s more of happy beats and mellow vocals; CAPSULE pulled it off. Next up “I WISH YOU,” which brings us back to a more Capsule flavored track. But then we leave that with the next two tracks. “FACTORY” is really a repetitive techno track. “I WAS WRONG” might grow on me after a while, but it’s also nothing like Capsule. Some female vocalist that sounds more like an r/b artist, and the song is a slow surreal, pop ballad. Great song.  But it’s not Capsule. There’s not much of Toshiko on this album.

“CAN I HAVE A WORD” shows some real promise and it shows Toshiko coming back to sing gorgeously, with something more like “MORE MORE” (their last album). But it doesn’t really explore much and overall doesn’t really sound infectious but I’m sure it will be, I am still getting used to “MORE MORE.” I am a person of “GIVE IT A TRY” and so far all I can say is that I’m falling for this album as all their previous albums. I did tell you to go pick it up, I will leave it at this’ if you like or follow Capsule. Then you will learn to like this. It took me about three try’s to follow and get myself addicted to the new album! So now I am excited for this album and the tours that will follow. I can sure say we will see them in TOKYO!!!!
