Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was conceived in Cleveland, Ohio more than a decade ago in 1993 and consists of five rappers each with a harmony and rap style of their own - the key ingredient to their success and unique takeover of the hip hop industry. They can only be characterized by a harmony greater than the name and raps like missiles with a lyrical speed and agility that never misses the target. Their style is hard to match and their speed is unattainable by any who’ve tried. They are their own entity and they continue to show it with their new single “Rebirth” from their upcoming album Uni-5.

The song is comprised of orchestral instrumentation, a heavy rhythm and a chorus to give your ears a breather from the lyrical entourage of each of the Bone Thugs - Krayzie, Lazy, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh-n-bone. This song is a prelude to another great album as they describe their success, their unachievable style, and how they “continue to pick up the pieces, they follow us Kings ‘til the sundown […] better show love or lay down.”

Wish Bone describes the illusionary music industry asking “what happened to old bitin’ self? […] These days, ghost writers, fake artists with nothing to say.” Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have stayed true to their genre and continue to prove themselves as “everybody rappin’ fast! But the harmony in it and now that’s too much to pass.” Flesh-n-bone also hints at another decade of success with “the fellas with hell of a harmony with the flow hooked up with Eazy-E and shook up the industry and y’all just in time to get another phase.”

So show love for the Bone Thugs as they continue to “lay (it) down.”
