Pacific Festival: OC
We're midway through 2011 summer. With Comic-Con and majority of the anticipated summer blockbusters behind us, what else should we be looking forward to? Well I have the answer my friends, how about Steve Aoki's 2nd Annual Pacific Festival: OC, which is going to be happening on August 13th. This one day festival is one of the biggest summer festivals to showcase independent talent. There will be five sound stages with fifty-plus acts, which means non-stop music in beautiful Silverado, Ca.
Pacific Festival: OC has a varity of genres that will be showcased at the festival not just cover dance music and indie rock. As before mentioned, this is the sophmore year of this festival but first year at breathtaking lakeside venue. The organizers of the event have once again brought together upsale music, fine amenities and production for their guests to experience.
For those looking for some first class experiences at the festival, there will be VIP and PACIFIC CLUB Tickets available. If you guys wont be going for the first class tickets this year don't fear, all ticket holders will be experiencing a wide range of food and beverages at the event. The festival is working with notable restaurants like Bear Flag Fish Co. and Memphis Cafe. So weather you have the VIP tickets or just general admission, you will experience the best of the OC's global cuisine.
You guys may be saying, "I don't really care for the food options," which is impossible... Here are just a taste of some of the acts that will be performing Steve Aoki (of course), Cut Copy, Calvin Harris, Ghostland Observatory, Phantogram, Toro y Moi and much much more! This year you'll be expecting not only the above great indepedent acts but Snoop Dogg as well! Yes, Snoop Doggy Dogg will be there, performing!!
The event will start at 11 am to around 1 am the next day. And the nice thing about it is that Pacific Festival: OC isn't just about the music, it's about charity too. The festival is going to bring attention and support the Surfrider Foundation by donating $1 for every ticket sold. For those of you that don't know, Surfrider Foundation is an organization that was established to protect our oceans, waves and beaches.
So get your tickets now! Because you only have less than twenty days till the festival and a fantastic lineup.
