Check out the latest trailer for Fish Tank's director Andrea Arnold newest film. Many f you may be already familiar with the material it's based on, but as a refresher here is the basic story: A poor English boy is taken in by a wealthy family, and forms a romantic bond with his foster sister.

 

Fans of the novel will most likely immediately notice the character has been changed to a black character. I love the change, and I wish more filmmakers were opened to race-changing roles as it always adds an interesting layer to the story.

 

Besides that, the trailer itself doesn't reveal too much, but does give us a taste of it's beautiful cinematography. The visuals seem very desolate and deprived, a very unique tone for it's material. Reviews have been mixed, but I'm still intrigued to see the film.
