Earths Mightiest Heroes are officially on set!

Today is the day that Director Joss Whedon began principal photography for the upcoming new chapter in Marvel films “The Avengers.” Worry not comic book fans, although certain characters have been left out as of now, the stellar ensemble of heroes from past films is staggering! Returning to the screen as Ironman is Robert Downey Jr., followed closely by Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Mark Ruffalo will be taking over as Bruce Banner to round out the list. For you die hard fans, I am sure you are a little upset that such cult favorites as Ant man, Wasp, Spiderman and Wolverine have not as of yet been slated to appear in this film, but fear not, with the Marvel franchise of films being so highly successful recently, it seems that their time will come to the silver screen soon enough.
