J. Edgar Trailer
With only two months before the release of the film, Clint Eastwood finally decided to release a trailer to his J. Edgar Hoover biopic. I've read the script for this film, and I was surprised to see Eastwood pick it up. At times the script can be very comedic, and at other times it can very stylistic. It read like something Gus Van Sant would direct.
After seeing the trailer, my worries are a bit closer to being eased. It seems Eastwood kept a lot of the great moments in the scrip, although the stylistic portions of the film weren't showcased in the trailer. More than likely Eastwood cut them out, but hopefully he knows what he's doing. More importantly is Leonardo DiCaprio's portrayal of the famous FBI agent. I truly did not believe he could pull it off, but it seems DiCaprio is giving it his best shot. Will he succeed? We won't know until the film comes out, but count me as an excited fan.
