Justin Bieber Fans Shut Down Event in Paris

Paris was not ready for the 15-year-old pop singer on Monday, February 22nd as the number of Justin Bieber fans grew to unexpected numbers. The Canadian pop-singer was in Paris promoting his CD “My World” at the Citadium when police had to shut down the singer’s meet and greet in-store appearance due to overcrowding and control issues, officials say.

Justin tweeted about the incident on Twitter saying, “Paris is crazy! Had some interviews this morning with mags and radio. Got to practice my French a little. But then the in-store ... There were thousands of kids at the in-store and the police were not expecting it. They reorganized the crowd and we got it going, but after a little while the police stopped it and came in and said it was over and I had to leave.”

Apparently it’s not the first time this has happened! Last November Bieber didn’t even get to set foot into Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York when someone screamed his name and caused a stampede, reports say.

But Bieber was able to handle his Parisian pandemonium with a public apology on Twitter. “Sorry to any of the kids I didn’t get to meet. I love all of you for your support. To start my trip in Paris like this already, the love and the energy is amazing. Thank you so much.”

Sorry Robert Pattinson. It looks like you’ve been replaced! Fangs are out, and Bieber’s in!
