Drake is a man of many talents, the main one-making it on his own!
The young rap artist has gone from a role in the hit Canadian show “Degrassi” to a role player in the music game with his new hit single “Over” from his first upcoming album Thank Me Later, which premiered in his hometown Toronto, Ontario in Canada. The Flow 93.5 played airwaves of gold with Drake’s new single which talks about his path into fame, playing the game, and now looking back on it as he’s “bout to go Thriller, Mike Jackson on these n—-as.”
Drake has paved his walk of fame with hard work and perseverance while garnering hit slots alongside music moguls like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem and Birdman, to name a few! With just baby steps into an industry of locked doors, Drake has already been nominated for a Grammy with his mixtape “So Far Gone.” Imagine what he can do with an album!
Staying true to his Young Money affiliates, he signed a record deal with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment in 2009 and his first studio recorded album Thank Me Later is set to release this year.
I’d say Drake is one cocky rapper to name an album Thank Me Later, but with so much success in so little time I’ll let him slide with bragging rights!
