Legend of Zelda games are always known for their long wait, which makes the announcement, or any news surrounding our legendary hero, even more of an event in the gaming industry. The last Legend of Zelda, The Twilight Princess, came at the end of the Gamecube's life, and the beginning of the age of the Wii. Nintendo has finally announced the release date of their later Legend of Zelda game, Skyward Sword, and it look to be mimicking a similar scenario.

Gamespot is reporting that the game will be hitting American stores November 20, making November the biggest month of the year for game releases, with Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim all being released in the same month.
