TGS: Final Fantasy X getting an HD remastering
This was only a matter of time. With so many people releasing their old Playstation 1 and 2 games with high definition Playstation 3 ports it was about time Square Enix join in on the fun. Straight out of the Tokyo Game Show Sony has announced Final Fantasy X HD, which is, yes you guessed it, a HD remastering of one of Square Enix's most successful Playstation 2 roleplaying games.
Honestly, I'm quite disappointed it's not a bundle. I know Final Fantasy X is a big game by itself, but if Konami can bundle pretty much all of the metal gear solids in one pack (excluding the original Metal Gear solid weird enough) then I'm sure they could have bundled Final Fantasy X and XII. XII was just as popular as X, therefore a HD port of XII is inevitable, making Square Enix seem like greedy chocobos. Although, I must admit: Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite game of all time. As a result of my laziness to rehook my Playstation 2, I'll probably buy this HD port, but I hope other game developers try harder to include more stuff in their HD bundles.
