Nintendo 3DS price cut announced

Nintendo 3DS price cut announced

With the recent release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D on Nintendo's latest handheld console, many are beginning to save up their paychecks to buy Nintendo 3DS. The console is growing tremendously in popularity, and everyone wants one. Lucky for those penny-savers, Nintendo has recently announced they will be lowering the price of their popular 3D handheld.

On August 12, the price of the Nintendo 3DS will be a reasonable $169. That's a whopping 32% price drop!

I'm sure people who have already bought the system are ready to curse Nintendo for waiting this long to drop the price, but there's no need to press send on your hate main, Nintendo hasn't forgotten the loyalist of fans. For those who already have a Nintendo 3DS they will be able to download up to 20 free downloadable games. These games include, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, and The Legend of Zelda. While other games, such as Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong will be exclusive to owners who bought the Nintendo 3DS before the price cut. They may be older games, but these are all classics, and most of them have more to offer than today's more lackluster games.
