   I am a Golden Sun fan. I have played the first two repeatedly, followed every chunk of news including the fabled Golden Sun on the GameCube (a main reason I even bought one) and can name most psyenergy by sight. I’ll admit, I was slightly worried about the transition. But then I played it. Holy. Crap. The first thing I did was play the battle mode and unleash the epic Ragnorak. A huge sword came crashing down and cracked the ground, ending in a mini explosion. I was blown away. It was as epic, if not more so, than the original game. Everything looked good. The characters, albeit reminding me of Isaac and Garret despite people telling me numerous times that they were not, looked good and we caught a glimpse at a new wind adept. The puzzling solving was the same, except now the stylus comes into play directing the Psyenergy. I played the brief sample story mode, and was delighted to find that everything felt the same with its new coat of paint.  Even the nostalgic jump noise showed back. I am officially in love. I spent a good amount of time geeking out over how much fun I had fighting three small battles. With a story promising to show us how our old teams are doing (hopefully, they were alluded to being nearby) and new psyenergy, plus the epic looking summons and battles, I will be first in line to pick up my copy.
