For those of you who played Dissidia you know Square did a pretty good job on its first ever all Final Fantasy fighting game for a handheld. The game featured 24 characters (12 heroes of light and 12 villains) from numerous FF games in a challenge to see who would rule light or dark.

Famitsu announced that the game would indeed get a sequel currently titled [Duodecim] 012 Final Fantasy which is an odd title but will add more variety and take the game further than Dissidia, but so far only Lightining (Final Fantasy XIII) and Kain (Final Fantasy IV) have been announced with screen shots.

More information will be shown at Tokyo Game Show this week so stay tuned.
