The Sounds play to a crowded Glass House

The other night The Sounds headlined at The Glass House in Pomona, CA. I've never really heard these guys before, but thought to myself what's the deal with this Swedish Indie band? How is they've been around for what a decade or so and have 4 albums under their belt? What…have I been living under a rock? Anyways, so I checked out some of their live videos on YouTube, that fans have put up and watched some of their performances on some of the late night talk shows. Anyways, I liked what I saw and decided to check out the show practically down the street from my house, in a famous little place next to Antique Row in Old Town Pomona called, "THE GLASS HOUSE."

The opening acts were The Limousines, Kids At The Bar, they DJ'd between bands and Funeral Party.

So…from the moment Kids At The Bar finished their DJ Set and the lights went out it was on. It was just pure energy from their first song, "It's So Easy", which went right into "Dance With The Devil" to later on playing "Something To Die For." With the crowd feeding of The Sounds energy and The Sounds feeding off of the insane crowd it was pure greatness. Maja Ivarsson to

Maja Ivarsson is truly one of the most beautiful women in Rock History as far as I'm concerned. Not just because of her beauty on the outside, but the way she presents herself on stage. Just imagine a young Debbie Harry (Blondie) and Janis Joplin, with that kind of sexy raspy voice. She's also the face for a new hair care promotion by Sebastian Professionals (

I most definitely suggest checking these guys out live, the videos don't give this bands live show justice, especially when you're in the middle of the crowd. So find out where they are playing next and get your ASS over there. So until then check out the photos from The Sounds
