When your an idol in Japan your life is no longer yours but instead controlled by the media and company you are signed with, especially if you are in a pop team. The main rule is you can not have a boyfriend, smoke or anything that can ruin your image if you are on a female team, because you are suppose to be the want and fantasy of all the fanboys who will buy all your memorabilia.

If you break taboo you are kicked from the team and you are never allowed back, plus your name is deleted off the records, pretty sad isn't it? The two main all female groups are AKB48 and Morning Musume and members have been released for these reasons, which have lead to attempted suicide, trying to get back into the team as best as they can, one has even gone into the adult industry.

Recently Ouji Hiroi (age 56). creator of the Sakura Wars/Sakura Taisen series was photographed leaving Sayaka Akimoto's (age 22) apartment the next morning after appearing in in the early afternoon they day prior, which led people to believe there was some sort of secret relationship between the two which could of led to her getting kicked out of the team, but instead she went explained on her radio program that she would be stepping down as leader of team K. Akimoto added that Hiroi had fallen asleep as they were watching a video, and Akimoto had decided not to wake him until morning but it was nothing more than business, but she will work hard to gain her spot back up again thou fans tell her not to do it.

Akimoto says that she will work hard towards becoming the team's captain again. Akimoto appeared as the character Nightmare in a stage musical inspired by the Fairy Princess Minky Momo anime and scripted by Hiroi in April and May. Hiroi also planned and directed an AKB48 musical called Infinity, and Akimoto performed in that production as well.
